The collection includes the hauntingly beautiful "Vocalise" from Op. 34, a vocal masterpiece without words that showcases Rachmaninoff's ability to evoke deep emotions solely through melody. Moving to Op. 21, "Where the Beauty Dwells" unfolds with enchanting lyricism, painting a musical portrait of serene beauty.
In Suite No. 1, Op. 5, Rachmaninoff weaves a tapestry of emotions through movements like the dreamy "Barcarolle," the passionate "E la nuit... l'amour," the introspective "Les larmes," and the lively "Pasqua." The charm continues with Op. 14's "The Little Island," a miniature gem expressing poignant simplicity.

Giorgia Tomassi, born in Naples, honed her piano skills under her mother's guidance and completed her artistic development at the Accademia Pianistica Incontri col Maestro in Imola, guided by Franco Scala. In 1992, she achieved first prize in the prestigious Arthur Rubinstein Competition in Tel Aviv. Her illustrious career has taken her to renowned venues across Europe, the USA, South America, and Asia, including La Scala in Milan, Wigmore Hall in London, and Santa Cecilia Auditorium in Rome. Giorgia has left a lasting mark with her recordings, including Chopin Etudes and Nino Rota's piano concertos for EMI, the latter performed with the Filarmonica della Scala under Riccardo Muti. She has also collaborated with Salvatore Accardo for Fonè recordings. In the chamber music realm, Giorgia has shared the stage with luminaries like Martha Argerich, Salvatore Accardo, and Gabriele Pieranunzi. Her regular participation in the Lugano Progetto Martha Argerich underscores her prominence in the classical music world.

Carlo Maria Griguoli embarked on his piano studies at the age of 5, graduating with top honors from the Campobasso Conservatory. His compositions have garnered acclaim, earning him a special prize at the "Michele Novaro" International Composition Competition in 2018. Currently serving as a Piano Professor at the "L. Perosi" Conservatory, Griguoli is renowned for co-founding The PianoS Trio.
This accomplished trio, featuring Griguoli alongside Giorgia Tomassi and Alessandro Stella, has received acclaim for their symphonic transcriptions. Carlo Maria Griguoli's notable contributions extend to collaborations with The PianoS Trio at the "Martha Argerich Project," with live recordings released by EMI Classics and Warner Classics. Griguoli's enduring impact on classical music continues to flourish.
