The Saletta Acustica 'Eric James'

The recording studio, housed in the producer's own home, consists of five rooms (a total of 100 square meters) that are ideal for recording, listening, and mixing.

The main room of 600 square feet (55 mq) is the space devoted to recording. It has been created with specific proportions: 1, 1:14, and 1:39 ratio, superimposed to the golden section. This specification was also made according to the soundboard rule (the room is hosted within other empty rooms, and was built by using special materials).
It features a wooden floor in three layers, the upper one of which is oak.

The pianos, permanently hosted in the main room, are 2 x Steinway & Sons D-274: the first - a grand piano named 'Ferrari-O' - was selected by the legendary pianist Arturo Benedetti-Michelangeli; the second, 'Audi-O' is another grand-piano, a brand-new one!

The studio is also home to a two-manual Harpsichord, copy from a 1638 instrument by Ioannes Ruckers, used in over 30 recordings internationally renowned.

The sound produced by the 'Saletta Acustica Eric James' is final, neither dry nor anechoic, and is especially suitable for chamber ensembles up to five instruments.

Our artists get to enjoy our entire home, including a guest bedroom, a fully furnished kitchen, garden, and wonderful cats, along with the amazing views of the mountains and the Brenta river.
