OnClassical is a fully-digital
classical music label since 2004.
Headed by producer Alessandro
Simonetto, it features solo-instrument and chamber music repertoire
with some of the most interesting artists of today's musical scenes
including pianists Gianluca Luisi, Marco Tezza, Alessandro Deljavan,
Roberto Poli; harpsichordist & organist Simone Stella; violinist Alberto
Bologni, Daniela Cammarano, Paolo Ghidoni, Luca Fanfoni; violist Diana
Bonatesta, Danilo Rossi; and others.
The distribution includes the
mp3 standard quality (iTunes, amazon...); the HD studiomasters (high fidelity
88.2 kHz / 24-bits, see ie. through the NaxosHD platform, HDTracks or Qobuz,
to quote a few); the MfiT (Mastered for iTunes aka iTunes/HD).
OnClassical is also Creative
Commons licensed since its debut. Some of its musical repertoire is
part of the Jamendo catalog.
OnClassical's repertoire has been
largely licensed, as physical, for international label Brilliant Classics.
Starting October 2015, OnClassical
also becomes "physical", with the name ÆVEA worldwide distributed
by Naxos of America and Launch Music International (details).
