OnClassical featured Artists: Antonio Palareti

Antonio Palareti studied at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro under M° Franco Scala obtaining his diploma with honours. He then perfected with M° Boris Petrushansky at the piano Academy Incontri col Maestro in Imola, where attended several master classes of interpretation held by illustrious pianists such as Jörg Demus, Sergio Fiorentino, Alexander Lonquich, Gerhard Oppitz, Joaquín Achúcarro.

Antonio Palareti is holder of composition and conducting diploma. He has performed in Italy and abroad as soloist as well as with an orchestra, obtaining noteworthy success and reviews both from critics and appreciative audience for his interpretation of the works of J.S.Bach and L.V.Beethoven. During his last tour in Romania and Russia, Palareti performed the Beethoven' Sonata op. 106 at prestigious concert halls such as the Philharmonic Hall in Iasi, Ateneu Hall in Bacau, Philharmonic Hall in Bucharest and the fabulous Organ Hall in Kisinev.

Palareti is also noted to have performed the complete Bach's Art of Fugue, now released on onclassical.com in two volumes (one and two) at significant Italian concert associations such as "Festival di S.Stefano" in Bologna, Teatro Comunale in Ferrara, Teatro Alfieri in Cagliari, Sala Maffeiana in Verona, Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna, Serate Musicali in Milano... often accompanied by famous Italian journalist and historian Pietro Buscaroli.

Antonio Palareti has played with the Orchestra Internazionale d'Italia, the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, and with the London Symphony Chorus with whom he performed the piano version of the Rossini's Petite Misse Solennelle. He has been guest of the prestigious Al Bustan Festival in Beirut.

Antonio Palareti teaches "Lettura della Partitura" at the Giuseppe Verdi Italian State Conservatorium of Milan.
